Site Changes..Yay ? Nay ? Or More ?? Hello Dear Members/Readers , Happy New Week. Just like all of You I logged in and noticed the new look of the site. I thought the new page view is very sharp and I like the look of it. I do not use the IM and I go to my blogs, groups etc the way I have always done. I have talked to some members and noticed there was a plethora of Blog postings about the changes.. So why am I adding to those posts ? Some members are blocked from some of those blogs and can not share their feelings/comments about the site changes..( do not feel badly if you are blocked, I am blocked too from other blogs. ) Here is a space to use to post/share your feelings and comments..I know some members miss the notifications alert on the bottom right...some members want to Preset their IM button without having to open it or turn it on. There have been a lot of changes and as we all know .. Once something is changed or fixed on the site, something else breaks down or goes haywire. Please keep these thoughts on the site changes and not the issues with other members, scammers, fakes, blog wars etc. If you are having issues with other members please report them asap to the Customer Service dept & Abuse depts. No member should ever engage in Bullying or stalking..nor should you , as a member, put up with it. Feel free to share your concerns about how to navigate the site..or what you believe needs to be fixed asap.. ( Blog posts missing words issue comes to mind ) I will make sure to do all in my power to make sure management is aware of your thoughts & concerns as shared in this blog post. For as long as I can recall, back when a men's magazine owned the site , we have issues with the way the site is marketed. I worried back when certain incentives were offered to women and it upset some of the men..Than they had some kind of promo where they were basically saying the women were here to service men and that caused an uproar..( that ad campaign was taken down quickly after the backlash from members.) Next up was when standard members began losing the ability to interact with other members on the site..Thank you for putting into writing what a lot of members are thinking & feeling. Personally, I hated the notification bell on the bottom right and am glad it's gone. I agree that the header looks clean. The jury is still out whether it's easier to navigate or not. As for the IM, the feature itself needs a lot of work. One thing I've noticed is that typing a message really slows down when the list of exchanges get longer. Now I've seen some grumblings about the Gold membership being taken away from the women members and that the site is "revisiting" the idea since the offer's been abused by single men posing as women and couples. My 2 cents is that since the site markets the women as breathing fleshlights to the walking dildos who sign up and pay for membership, the least the site can do is offer women free Gold membership. But, instead of indiscriminately giving free Gold to all women, make them jump some hoops. For instance: - Only offer Gold to women who actively participate in the blogs, groups, magazines, contests, erotic stories, which are activities that promote member interaction. - Set a threshold where they have to post something so many times a month - They have to be a member for over 6 months plus be active in community activities - Free Golds who don't reach the threshold will have their membership suspended until they reach the threshold again (ex: the member didn't reach the monthly threshold in March, membership suspended, reached the threshold in April, membership resumes from May) For the men who pay for Gold, bundle the VIP and standard contact if they sign up for 12 months membership. At the end of the 12th month, they get the 13th month free. Give them loyalty points if they extend their membership. Set up an exclusive email account for paying golds to contact that'll patch them directly through to the staff at the HQ and not to the outsourced call centers.

Hello Joy, Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and thoughts on JN's post.. I always felt it was wrong to take things away from standards. How are we going to be able to show them what a membership is worth if we take everything away from them ? I have some friends who did the Icebreaker emails for the site to get Free Gold..( which btw, I was there when the Icebreaker program was announced and it was clearly stated all, ALL women who participated in it would receive free silver for LIFE. (Lifetime free membership ) Than the silver was taken away and the Members were given free Gold..( also for Life ) than that was taken away . Oops, forgot to site change comment - the IM is too sensitive, u have to watch what you're doing to keep from opening individual IM - & why is it better to open, then choose profile or msg? Before it was direct clicks. I do like the top banner much more. And thank God those repetitive male gay trashy GIF ads don't seem to be as prevalent - it was routine for me to trim the page to shove them off to the right. If TSdates.com had a clear competitor, I KNOW the site would be MUCH more user friendly - as it is, you just have to deal with it, no matter what changes. But the top banner is good. In Messenger, u can't access Photos that aren't in your profile - but you can in email - but Standards mems cannot get email - so how is a person supposed to privately send a face pic to STandards? Ohhhh I get it - PAY more. As if we don't pay more than enough. Also, private camming was much easier and controllable - I can't make heads or tails out of how it's done now. Then when you do cam, the window dominates. All in all, I re-up when I've been off it for a few months, but the $ doesn't bother me, except when the value & ease is missing, which you don't want that list in toto. Back in the day, I remember having much more access as a Standard - u couldn't initiate email but you could reply. Even the NY Times gives you a certain amount of free articles. When the site design is all about the money, you get what you get, meaning we don't expect much from TSdates.com. But if you reduced most criticisms, you'd hear that "no one is real here." Now how could that many people have that idea? Obviously, the site does not promote "real" people - only a certain cohort of ________ people of which I must be one. But if you're not going to reveal any "real" pix (haha yeah right, as if), you ought to get rid of the teaser that says they are there. But then I guess that's the theme throughout, as TSdates.com exists today. In heaven, it all works perfectly. No hurry, though. Ciao for niao.

I miss the days where the site had a staff liaison where we could directly exchange ideas via a weekly group meeting. For the most part, the meetings were productive and some good ideas were implemented. We were also able to beta test features and give our feedback before the features went live. We didn't get any extra perks for our participation but we were able to actively help improve the site. Those days are long gone. What would it take to start up a similar program?

If we had the community in place that you mentioned JN, we would have tested these changes before they went LIVE to help not only the members but the Tech crew as the rebuild the site. Adding to the MORE changes section.. 1) Standards losing so many of their free things to do on site, including women..We need to show the site off at its Best by reinstating some of what the Standards can do so they see how great the site is and so they can see investing in a Gold membership is the way to go to enjoy more fun things. 2) Standard women being able to view some profiles far away from them but not being able to see male profiles near them that they would like to meet. Each time I come back to this I still read it for no other reason than its nice to see a woman pay so much attention to the details while having the memory to do it. It reminds me of the happy hours and ladies nights and how they evolved around the country. Something strange always happens markets try analog solutions in the digital world. Advertisers in the digital world are wasting 85% of their ad spend today. 100 years ago a guy named Wannamaker (cited so often today) agreed 50% of his ad spend was wasted. The devil girl in your post was designed damn well considering all the physics involved in her stance. I made a list of all the replies and pulled them together in a report for Andrew & Customer Service, etc...Everything from Blog glitches, to IM ( being able to set it to off ) , Icebreaker programme, Hard to navigate the site, The new pages for the site that allows you to share your words to other social media sites..(a BIG NO IS WHAT I HAVE HEARD )..Standards missing out on things they used to be able to do & Creating a new Beta Test Group with JN & other trustworthy members to help test things for the site before they go " LIVE." Hey Ms. Anastasia!!! I have not been doing much online like i used to. Many of us regulars as you know have backed off a bit. I agree so much with you and JN, especially on the focus group. I miss that totally. I was one of them and did the beta testing with you ladies and gents and it totally did help. I would love for the group to go active again. I can't agree with all of what has been said especially on the ice breaker idea. It was being abused by people as usual, many men signing up as women etc., and everyone paid the price for those people. I get there there are men that complain when women get something free like the ice breaker and/or a gold membership, but they don't seem to understand that there is a huge lack of women here on the site and it is an incentive to get women to join. I get they don't like having to pay to be here and the idea women get in for free, but what can one do to get women here?? The idea that we just want random dicks flooding our messages and home pages and to be treated like meat on a hook in a store is NOT what gets women to be here. Yeah, I get some are into that, but most women are not. Too many people seem to think if a woman likes sex she is undeserving of respect, which you write about lots and thankfully. The total lack of respect to women that just say no thank you after the huge number or guy saw the horrible ads of 'get laid in 24 hours' or 'log in today and get laid tonight' are just as bad as that terrible idea they had of the 'guarantee to get laid' stupidity. They don't believe beer commercials and have a brain knowing if you open a Labatt's Blue it will NOT snow in your living room, but give an ad about sex and all common sense goes out the window and they run with their pants around their ankles, dick in hand, thinking they just need to sign up and they will have a plethora of p*ssy. We do need to change that!!! There are so many reasons to be here and I am happy to see the weekly ads are slowly adding in things about people wanting relationships over just being here to hook up. I remember in the focus group when we were trying to get them to send out introductory emails to people signing up on what the site has to offer including blogs, the magazine, the advice lines, and for things outside of sex including to chat, be friends, and dating/marriage. Too many are writing emails stating if you are not here to f*ck get off the site and that is just wrong. There are men here as well that want a LTR!!!! There are men here that are just blogging!!! This is TSdates.com not adult F*ck finder and I have tried for a long time to emphasize that. I started in 2004 and this place was very different. I am grateful that I got to talk to and be included as friends with many of you wonderful people on here including JN, WD40, LindaRedhot, MrCofwi, Dakranz (loved this guy LOTS!), MissAnnThrope (she totally rocked!!), and of course YOU Anastasia. I will always defend the site and hope for it to be a better place and one day for people to not be ashamed to say they are on it. I would love for people to be able to say they are on TSdates.com just like they say they are on Match and you know I said that in a live interview I did on the radio for the site. I stand by that. There ARE good people here, just sometimes they are hard to find. xoxoxox
