The key to good exercise is good music!
The key to good exercise is good music! For me anyway. I walked an hour and 4 minutes today which was a minute more than yesterday. But I walked farther and faster, kept my heart rate up whole time pretty much. Yesterday I was kind of slow. I feel good, sweating up a storm. Had it dripping down my back about halfway through. Never thought it'd feel so good to be sweaty! But it means I got a good workout cause I usually barely sweat when I walk. Also my muscles are getting stronger in my legs cause they don't hurt like hell after walking up that steep hill and just after such a long walk for me. Plus I'm learning to control my breathing for this cause I don't get so out of breath that my lungs are burning like I always used to. So back to the title of this post. I listened to P!nk the whole walk. Usually I switch from song to song, artist to artist. But a lot of her songs are good walking beats. They're fast and I subsciously walk to the fast beat. I found myself doing it throughout my walk. If I walk to a slow song I'll walk slow, but give me a good fast beat and away I go! (even up the hill) Unfortunately it's supposed to rain next 3 days so I won't be able to walk. Which is why I tried to walk more than my normal route that takes me 40 min. The days that it's not raining I'll have to try to do an hour also. Damn weather interrupting my exercise. I wish I could just keep walking until the pounds melt off, but alas, that can't happen. Got to do it the hard way of every day and watching the food intake. Anyone want to volunteer to help me exercise some other way on the rainy days? I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, it returned in a hurry. I asked why, it said "Angels can't watch porn." Thanks for fucking traumatizing my fucking Angel! Don't bother trying to figure me out. Not even the little voices in my head understand me. It's pointless! |

Ugh, I fucking hate exercise. Can't they find another way to lose weight by now?

i've gotten into bike riding. i rode my bike to work the other day. 8 miles each way. took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get back home due to the uphill. i had to walk some of it just cuz it had been that steep and i just ran out of steam. ONE day i'm hoping i'll get stronger and be able to bike the entire route. I love exercising tho. i like the challenge and mentally, it just makes me feel better about myself. it makes me feel accomplished. anyways, i think its cool your already able to notice improvements about yourself. it may not always seem easy... but anything worthwhile takes hard work anyways. i'm with you tho, i hate the fact its gonna end up raining the next few days. just a minor set back really tho. sun will be back out shortly... When I'm good, I'm great, but when I'm bad, I'm even better...
