since as a standard, i cant post pix in a comment . . .
heres one my files.
chicagos navy (amusement) pier from a boat near the breakwater
on lake michigan.

they actually do (did) this weekly during summers,
this just happened also be independence day.

hopefully you can copy it and add it your blog and contest . . .

i choose to stay home
and listen and watch the neighbors (plural) fireworks this year,

then catch some on tv as well
(pbs replays the wash dc ones,
since they start early for a national audience).
