And I wonder that if in trying to answer such a question we would find that it has more to do with our own perceptions of life and death. For those who feel as if they nothing else to live for (or hope for) in this world, perhaps death is a better place. But might that also mean that we haven't yet truly experienced all that this life has to offer. After all, death is somewhat final. And since our idea or vision of what lies in the next world can exist only in our mind, don't we owe it to ourselves (and our creator) to live this life fully in the present? I certainly can't answer that question, only provide my own perspective.

Life is always better than death, unless we r so close to death, with our pain and suffering that death would be a welcome relief... But those choices are God's and not ours. Faith is our salvation and peace and everlasting life is our reward. .. And if we don't believe then our pain is that much greater... It's not a solution...
