 I feel your sadness in those words....its a major disappointment...i know. And a strange dynamic...IF he is truly going to divorce...did he perhaps want more than you can give , seeing that this new person is single. Seems like, if she wasnt already in the picture, where did that come from. I dunno...its hard to figure out peoples motivations. I blogged abt my experience with this in March Madness. Its sad...indeed!
Who knows ...there might be another out there.....i hope there is

Its heartening to know that he did tell you, so that you just didnt continue to wonder, why things felt off. Being blindsided is the absolute worse.

...and oh yeah....make sure he truly does wanna keep the friendship....and NOT just the benefits of said friendship. Unless, of course, thats all you want.

Writing is cathartic...im glad you share. Good Luck with it all ~~

Yes there are many men out there. I am sorry things did not work out. Hopefully you will find a connection with a single man you do not have to share. And totally agree make sure he wants more then just the benefits.. People like that are easy to find. Thank you for sharing your sadness,
