I usually get tired of being on travel after about a week's time. You always tend to eat too much rich food and feel lazy when on travel. But home, back in SC, I miss that all the time. I spent my early years moving quite a bit while growing up so I developed a comfort with travel, new places & faces, and the upheaval of non-permanent roots. Consequently time spent on the road early in my career didn't bother me. Longest I've gone is about 1.5 months away and, while I tend not to pine for the comforts of home while traveling, it is nice to come home... there is a sense of arrival, peace and completion in the act of "being home".

I spent many years doing work away from home in my youth...haven't had to do it in awhile now...suppose it would be hard to be without the 'creature comforts' of home  P.S. Sad to see you leave (Timmies drive thru just after 1pm yesterday) but hoping you are not a stranger and still visit our northern locale once in a blue moon
