The Voice In Your Head  It’s known by different things. Your conscience. Your inner voice. Your gut instinct. Your inner monologue. Many people use it 'to' guide their decisions; consider their options; weigh the pros and cons; decide what actions 'to' take or words 'to' speak. It can all happen in a split second or much longer. We all know the other kinds of people. They seem 'to' blurt out the first that comes into their head. They don’t think before they speak. They don’t re-read their email, text or comments before pressing Enter. Afterwards, when they realize the impact, what do they do? Do they take responsibility? No. They will blame it on their temper or the extra alcoholic beverage they consumed or whatever excuse they devise for their bad behaviour. Or they think simply deleting that email, text or comments will erase the damage. Remember: Actions have consequences. Spoken words cannot be un-heard. Written words cannot be un-seen. @The Voice Sheldon Allan Silverstein was an American writer known for his cartoons, songs, and 's books. His books have been translated into more than '30' languages and have sold more than '20' million copies. Over the past half century, I have mellowed a lot, those comments, not only make you look like an ass, but can be expensive, literally. Sometimes one just has to make an ass out of himself to get enough attention to prove a real point. Although one can cut off your nose in spite of it.. As you say we /all should reread, rethink or adjust our attitude before we stand up!! It sounds like you've been watching our news reports.  My inner voice tells me NOT to inject cleaning products to kill off Corona virus.

It seems some people don't have a conscience my friend, unfortunately. We see that here often, they ask for forgiveness and turn around and repeat the same bad behavior again.

I was brought up to say it like I mean it. That has both helped and hindered me in life but as long as I'm genuine about it that is all that truly matters. Life in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

I had a friend that used to type out what she was feeling in a heated moment and email those thoughts to herself. She'd re-read the message the next day and usually change it significantly. She had the benefit of letting her inner voice out without all of the destructive consequences. Some may only have that inner voice to listen to in these strange times we find ourselves. Stay safe out there sexyldy1000!

You can't unring the bell. Tho, you can learn from it. Sadly, most don't. There are times where I write my emotions, let's me vent for that immediate gratification. After some time has passed, had time to process those feelings.Rarely do I send/say what I had written at first ... *hugs* In Luv, Lite, Laffter ...

You do what others do here - post re-tread pics stolen off the web and title them with the same old cute titles... day after day.... day after day.... week after week... month after mont... over and over again. How many times have I seen the same pics on others blogs. I just move on. lol... And then get your minions and little peeps to tell you how good you are. Oh... and Then you keep bleating about stuff (yesterdays news)...over and over - hoping others give a shit. Nobody but you and few others give a hoot! What do you do when you have no talent? Guess I am one of the rare people who never became a devotee of Seinfeld. As for fights, the only ones I have enjoyed are Olympic boxing or the occasional hockey donnybrook. People want to 'go at it' on your blog, I don't care.

It is amazing how that 'gut feeling" will almost always be correct ! I live in the mountains and on several occasions I have stopped just a couple of steps away from a venomous snake. That's not '''luck" it is instinct !!
