Visiting the twilight zone of dating sites

Hey, I'm back. I get tired of not getting any interest from people I'm interested in. So I stay away from here until I'm ready for more disappointment and viewing the naughty photos people post. That last part is one of the great benefits of TSdates.com. Most other dating sites don't let you do that. I like the app that rhymes with cinder, (even though I get no interest there either) but pics are strictly of the clothing on variety. But a site I found a couple of days ago was just so fake I just had to share here to say "stay away!"

Always on a search to find new potential people to ignore my profile, I stumbled upon a site called DateYou and decided to try it. At first glance it's great. But remember, if something seems too good to be true it probably is. I was getting messages from women before I had even posted a picture or entered profile text! They seemed so promising and had a feel of authenticity that the fake profiles on here don't have. They weren't all impossibly beautiful girls in their 20's. They were normal to fairly attractive women up to my cutoff of 48 years old. All of them seemingly eager to with in very suggestive terms.(brown chicken brown cow)

The base, reptilian portion of my brain was eating it ! For the briefest time I thought I was finally going get some sex for the first time since at least a year before my divorce years ago. But pesky frontal lobe brain said HOLD there cowboy! Don't you think this is odd? We should run a test.

So I added a simple question the end of my profile see if I could find out if there were real people behind these profiles. Just a simple question see if they'd understand a pop culture reference. "What is the answer life, the universe, and everything?" (If you don't get it, we're likely not compatible anyway ) The result: the messages kept coming my inbox without answering the question. I modified my profile again saying I will not reply messages without the answer my question. Still no attempts answer the question. Finally, I decided message one of them back, saying I was interested in her profile but I need her answer my question before I'd continue with a conversation. It took a while, but she finally replied saying why should we bother with questions like that when we can talk about each other?

Busted

I searched online for a review of the site. Everything confirmed it was a scam. (By the way, the same review site was very kind to TSdates.com fwiw) the accounts messaging me are designed to keep you interested and spending money to send back messages. They didn't just charge to start a conversation, they charged for each and every message you sent back to these dummy accounts!

I immediately deleted my account there. For now I'm sticking to dating sites I know have real people. Even if they don't want anything to do with me.

Take care people.
