"Hope"

"Hope" One of the greatest men that ever lived, who really lived up to his name, is Leslie Townes Hope. You know him as Bob Hope. As long as he lived he gave USO shows to entertain the troops in war. He gave them laughter in a hostile environment. He and his crew could had got shot or killed. But what he gave he troop was "Hope"! His show prevent them from blowing out their brains, and they could deal with the war, until they came back home. Any sports fan? There's a team called the Cleveland Browns, they suck! But in the 80's they had several chances to go to a super bowl, but they never did. There was fan who lost hope about the Browns, he said that they would never win a super bowl. To this day, he stop watching football and the Browns. My team is the Minnesota Vikings, they never won a super bowl either. But, I have hope that they would one day win a super bowl. Because I believe, I watch. If I lose hope on my team, I might not watch ever watch another game either. Just like anyone buying a lottery ticket. They have hope they would win, even if the odds is 10,000,000 to 1. People say, one day I'll win it all! I heard the term "False hope", means it's not going to happen! People who use term, "False hope" , people might think they are negative, but to them they are realist. Just like going to the casino, odd of winning big or slim to none. but people go all the time, but they have hopes of winning one day. I go once in a while, because I have hope I would win big too! If I had in my mind that I'm going to lose, I probably won't go. But since I feel I will, I do. We get up and go to work, and we hope when we 62 to 65years old we would get social security. This is the American way and everybody follow suit. Hope give us reason to get out of bed and face the world. It's give up strength to face what the world has in stored for us. Without hope there would be more suicide, and depression and more sadness. Without out Hope, why would be bother getting out of bed? Just imagine a world without "Hope". Quotes: Once you choose Hope, anything is possible. I am prepared for the worst, but hope for the best. You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough.           |

Bob Hope was one the greatest all time comedians and actors, and he certainly knew how to make us all laugh. Hope is a very good feeling to have as it's always a great thing to HOPE for the best in any situation in life we have. And your team my friend good luck they are going to need it..  I hope you have a great Thursday.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I like your idea of hope. I wrote a poem about Hope that came up as a memory on FB yesterday. I hope you don't mind if I post it here: Hope And Dreams I have hope I was surprised It had not all gone. Somewhere Deep inside of me A seed was left alone. It can now grow! To where? I don't know! But like Jack's beanstalk It could grow pretty tall! But I hope I do not Encounter any ogres. They are not in league With my happiness How could they be When they want The exact opposite? I will be the dreamer! A dreamer extraordinaire! Who keeps hope alive Like in the poem By Langston Hughes. I have loved his poem About holding fast To dreams. It is simple But beautiful And remarkably memorable. I would ask you all To google it! You will not Be disappointed. If the message Sinks in to your soul. Hope and dreams Two that can be the same! No nightmares With thoughts of these. Negative thinking Be gone! You are not welcome While we occupy This head space! We are in charge So there! We shall take On a life Breathe life into A brain once Starving of our oxygen! Happy Holidays to you Scoupe.
