"Life begins at 65".

Years ago there was several I worked with, who decided work till 65 retire. For one of them, he got $300 more retire at 65 instead of 62. He said, he would going do a lot of fishing, and the beach. He was a heavy smoker and end of getting cancer after several months of being retired. He died withing 3 months. The other guy, Mister RV, decided say 67, for retiring at 67, he was able get $400 more a month. His goal was retire and him and his wife going do the RV thing! His wife became ill, and her health gave out she died less than 6 months after he retired.

So sad, I felt so bad for him! I went Casino, 1 month after his wife died. He was there and he still was grieving. I ask him, if he got some time, so can we talk. He said , "I could had retired 5 years ago". I said, "Not beat yourself "! "Don't let sadness ruin your future". "You can't predict the future". I also said him. "Did you tell that since you was the only one working, that you have work 5 more years, because you still have off the house and other bills"!

I also said, "By the age of 67, you would be debt free, and you'll have the money travel". He said, "Drew you right! I forgot!, Because if I would had retired at 62, I would still had tons of debt"! So we both agreed that I work 5 more years." So, told him, no need to feel guilty! He was at ease, and it seem like he was finally able to move on! He was like a father to , he gave a a big hug, like a father would hug a he loves. He said, "Thanks Drew". It was one of the best days of my life, for God gave the right words say!

The next year, I went same Casino and I seen my friend Art again! He saw me, and asked me follow him the other side of the Casino. There was a lady his age gambling, and my friend Art said , "Drew, this is my girlfriend"! A tear drop came from my eye, and at this time my friend was now 68. So, I said Art, "Life begins at 68"!!!!!!! This was 15 years ago, I hope he still here or lived a good life!

The song "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw is how I've lived my life. I've considered myself semi-retired for the last 10 years and intend to work to some extent for a number more. I'm not rich by any means, but I see light at the end of the tunnel. I've been places and done things many if not most never will.

Life is what we create for ourselves. So many are wrapped up dreaming what they want life to be that they fail to enjoy what they have. In less than four years I too will take social security, god willing. I now have the person of my dreams in my life. I have a good life now. Retire is simply a word. The way some people use it makes one think they hated the life they had before they retired, and that somehow being retired will make their dreams come true. My dreams are already coming true. Live life like you are dying.
When you said, you been places ansd things things that many never will. I think about a song called "If I die tonight" by Marvin Gaye. Seem like you prepared for the future, thanks for the feedback and stopping by, your always welcome!

Kind of a Hard read, being that I retired 3 years ago at 65 Luckily House is paid off , live on a budget and continue on feeling Comfortable for the most part I do have BPH , but been dealing with that for 10+ years and keeping it in check , Natural Meds & Not Perscribed
Having that house paid off was a smart move! Glad you taking care of your health, hopefully we both can have a long future ahead!

I like to work, I enjoy my time in the office or home office
However, I don't move my wishes forward, don't have big plans for the future, just hope that I am still attracted to young men in a few years

Sometimes I dream that I stop at the middle of the road, still have great desire to drive, but the tank (available rock hard young ones) is empty and I have to accept any drop from the pump to keep going, keep driving

Are you sure life starts with 65?

My friend, it's nice to enjoy what we do, and ofcourse men would still atractive to you!One day, you take that long drive. Thanks for stopping by

This website is FAKE. There are no actual PEOPLE in this. I don't know where they get all the pictures from, but nobody meets anybody here - it's all a SCAM.
