"This is a sex site..."

"This is a sex site..." I've been running across a bunch of blog posts, magazine articles, and profiles lately all seem to be complaining about how other people want to use the site and using the statement "This is a sex site" to justify their idea of how to use the site is the "right way". For example, there was a magazine article where a woman was complaining about being contacted by people who weren't local to her. She made the comment nobody is going to get anything out of and she needed a body to fuck, ending her rant with "this is a sex site after all". Another example is a local couple's profile is looking for men to join and fuck the wife while the husband watches. Fair enough. Part of the profile mentions some men have asked to meet for coffee, drinks, etc and they aren't interested in . Again, fair enough. But then they add in "This is a sex site, if you want to date go to a church social". WTF? Like you can't meet for dinner or something and then fuck? I get they are looking for a pure sexual encounter, but again idea "this is a sex site and if you aren't doing it the way we think you should be doing it you are doing it wrong." Sure this is a site is more openly focused on sex say POF or other vanilla sites, but doesn't mean the ONLY way to do is to meet and fuck. Plenty of people get off on cyber, reading stories, etc. There isn't just one way to be sexual, but i love how these people are so arrogant their way is the only right way because "this is a sex site". |

To some it's a place for revalidation through the notion of sexual encounters that gets more attention than any "vanilla" sites.It's a harmless concept on its own.It's when the concept uses advertising that seems to imply that the consent of members who hold sole power of consent isn't any obstacle. Which is so ludicrous and out of touch with reality.Sadly there is enough fools out there that believe it and is why so many here have to constantly explain themselves. The statement as well as attitude that "this is a sex site"on its own merit is what is mostly responsible for "they ruin anyone elses chances". Is it really any wonder that our total preoccupation with anything sexual in this country is why most europeans believe we have the sexual maturity of a twelve year old male middle schooler. Crap on their noise! Using more than all the road!

The site is called "Adult *Friend* Finder," which a lot of these men seem to forget. I figured it was a site where one could find potential friends with benefits, not just a quick lay. And that's how I'll use the site. I don't care how they think I should use it. They are free to leave me alone if they don't like my presence.

The main people who rant about this being a sex site, are the ones who arent getting any action , because any adult with brain know what this site is to them, this is why you have a lot of options. duh

i think the main point of saying "this is a sex site " is to rationalize the fact that they have been a bore/asshole and were called out on that
