The Factor may become history...

Hmmm, do you believe O'Reilly is innocent or guilty of inappropriate behavior? It seems to me I've heard him saying things about people that were accused and had paid settlements looking guilty.

It seems there have been quite a few accusations against the top people at fox from Ailes and Abernathy to O'Reilly over the years. Maybe there was an old boys situation going on there where it was seen as acceptable because the boss was doing it.

Do think Trump the pussy grabber chiming in was helpful?

O'Reilly doesn't need much help looking the fool. I think however, he's smart enough that he would have preferred that Trump NOT assist.

so, if Russia pushed the gassing, then skedaddled with prior warning of the non congressionally approved US air strike......where the Syrians had already moved moved their planes off site...........what does 2 plus 2 equal?

grins

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

I agree with you on O'Reilly and his likely reaction to Trumps comments.

I was looking forward to see more information this morning about the details of the attack. I figured that Trump had warned the Russians which is the same as warning the Syrians and figured it would be pictures of an empty bombed out airfield. So much for his touted element of surprise. But I have to say it would not have been a good idea to not have warned them even if Obama had done something like this he would have warned the Russians. Assets are costly even if they are just empty bunkers, hangers and air strips. Trump just upped the ante in the international concern about his unpredictable reactionary outburst besides breaking all sorts of international and U.S. laws.

Whether his program stays on could be determined by which sponsors choose to stay. So far a number of big companies have stepped away.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

It seems there are an awful lot that are ditching the show. It's the new way of making a social statement to keep your customers happy as there has been so much boycotting going on and those companies that get boycotted feel the pain in the wallet.

He's got a pretty big ego, wouldn't surprise me at all.

He'd be smart to keep quiet on this one.
But that would be... if he was smart.

Yeah, and we all know he will keep on running his mouth or tweeting away.

He is just as conniving as the network he represents. I would be stunned if they killed his show. Fox may have sacked Rodger, but he wasn't a public face. .. And even if they did cut him off, I'm sure he has a diamond encrusted golden parachute waiting for him. ... Then he will move on.

I guess we will see about his ability to ride out the waves but I think it doesn't look good. I wouldn't be surprised if he does have a good severance agreement but it could be difficult to pick up and go anywhere when people are aware of his "alledged" behavior. You don't see Ailes or Cosby (though his offences were much worse) in the public in any good light now.

What we see of O'Reilly is all an act. .. It is all a facade

Will this be the end of him? .. I doubt it. .. He's made it this far.

Yeah but the advertisers are pulling there ads from his show and that means no more money to be made!

I like to hear O'Reilly's point of view sometimes though I don't have cable anymore and only see him on other shows or the internet. Can't say as I go out of my way looking to see what he says.
