Since We Met On AFF A Poem

It's still raw
Yes it is still raw
Is the emotion
Regarding the man
I had been involved with.
Going on two weeks since
He told me that he was
Going to see someone else
Someone more suitable.

I have to get this
Off my chest.
What the matter
Really is.
He basically intimated
Since we met on TSdates.com
I was not worthy of respect.
The nice more suitable woman
He met on a normal
Dating website.
Ah yes those.
Go figure!

I had always had hope
That someone could be
As open minded as me
But men have this block
When they see
Women as potential girlfriends
Or just as a piece of meat.

If you meet on TSdates.com
You are relegated to something
Other than
Basically the highest level
Will only ever be
Friends with benefits.
Which sounds good enough
To some folks
But the heart wants
What the heart wants
As the Aria Grande song goes
For some of us
That might be romance
And ultimately love.

To us fools
Us romance junkies
Still on TSdates.com.
That once upon a time
Had a better reputation.
We stay
Because we think
Some man has the sense
To treat women the same
Wherever he finds them.

 I had that happen too and I was devastated when he told me he had found someone that was in his social circle. He made me feel like a whore yet he was the only man I was involved with...go figure

He saw it through blinkered eyes.
He's a coward not to put up a fight.
