The people in the united states have for almost 50% of the population been very careful but for some reason some people refuse to believe in science till someone they know dies. It amazes me that when someone has cancer or heart problems they want the very best doctor but for an infectious disease they belive people who either have orange skin or non specialist . I now remember why when i travel outside the country people ask what is wrong with us

Thanks for sharing this. Now I understand why my friend is having a hard time with it. Over here in North Carolina it's getting worse because some do not follow the rules. If we all wore our mask and stay six feet apart and hands our hands we might can keep it down, but like northdom24 say, they are a punch of moron's all over the world. Stay safe my friend. Our extracurricular life came to an instant stop mid March. While the risk is low in Sask, meeting strangers isn't worth that risk. Yes, we wear masks when out and about even when we go to the small cities in the SE where there are just a few cases. After listening to Dr. Tam and watching W5 on masks, we went looking for the kind recommended. Costco had 3 layer masks with the recommended weave and material. Wearing them, surprisingly, feels much more comfortable that what we were wearing - and safer for us.

Wearing a mask is inconvenient? Spending 30 days on a respirator and then dying of the covid virus, that's inconvenient. It pisses me off when I go to the store, there's a big sign "MASKS REQUIRED", and there are those that don't wear a mask because they think they're special. We're all special...please wear a mask and save yourself and others. OK, that's my rant...I feel better...I recently learned that when you say Moron with a mask on, the Moron can hear you...Be safe...Woody

It seems it is the same everywhere and I feel it is easier for us in developed countries to stay safe and stop the spread than those poor souls in the developing countries, it is only spreading because people are seeing fit to break the rules. It also seems that no country can claim to have handled the situation better than those few east Asian countries that have previously had to deal with SARS maybe we should learn from them. x
