"Voulez-vous coucher avec MOI Ce Soir? Oui or Non?"

Malheureusement, je n'ai pris que le français de la 5e à la 9e année, mais pour répondre à la question...

Oui je veux coucher avec toi ce soir dame sexy

Bon week-end Joy

I can speak English fluently (hopefully) and German conversationally. I can just about get by in French. I guess American-English or textspeak don't count as distinct languages.
I have a couple of French blogging friends where I post in French on their blogs and they post in English on my blog; that seems eminently fair.
I like learning new languages and there's always Google Translate which is great.

Oui, Madame, certainement - et vous avec moi?

I learned some dead languages (Latin, ancient Greek) and was very happy to learn some sexy stories from Sappho, Ovid, Petronius, etc.

I learned a kind of English in school which was not very helpful when I was starting some international roles about 15 years ago.
I had my biggest issues with native speakers from a certain island.
Very shortly, I learned French, but our teacher became pregnant, but more important: I felt in love with my neighbour Michelle , we were sweet little 15, first love *big sigh*
I´m speaking a little bit Italian and Spanish, failed with Mandarin last year.

But I absolutely agree: you have to be open-minded, curious and perceptive, this is the essence of my living and loving.

I speak three languages (and can mess around with a couple more), but I don't go out of my way to translate posts I don't understand. It's a question of time and curiosity and I don't have either when I'm on these pages.
Thanks for the heads up; I might make exceptions, moving forward. 😊❗

Ohhh, trusting Google to translate sex stuff, which likely includes some slang - WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG!

Tu as raison. Moi, je parle Francais assez courrament mais je tente d'eviter de l'ecrire par ce que tous mes fautes sont trop evident. Auch ich kann mich in Deutsch verstanden machen. Then, of course, being a Brit, I can express myself perfectly in my native language. Ik sprak ook een klein bitje Flaams - als U blief!

I agree that is a bit narrow minded along with lazy. One of the things with this site
(few good things) is it allows people to meet not just locally but meet people from all over the World. Even if you never meet those people to meet someone from country you may have never thought about is fun and interesting along with getting to know those people. I have met many people in other countries who did not speak English or was not very but as you pointed out Google translate is out there and very good. I also believe that is a fun part of meeting someone who speaks another language. To me it is fun and exciting. And as someone once told me' Body language is universal' !!

Besos

Mais oui! Aujourd'hui ou demain peut etre?

I took French in high school and in college, as did my first wife. We would speak a little to each other. That was over 15 years ago and I have not had much reason to think about it let alone speak it.

I took a semester of French in high school. It was a requirement, to take a foreign language, at some time before you graduated. I chose French during my 10th grade (freshman) year, to get it out of the way.

Everyone and their mother's uncle seemed to be taking Spanish, and a few others chose German. Neither of which interested me, and had Japanese or Russian been offered at that time, either one of those would've been my first choice over French.

This song was one of the first things I translated, though using Google now (or even good ol' Babelfish back in the day) gives you more of a layman's use.

Voulez vous= Do you want (formally asking)
coucher= more likened "to lie down/rest" as opposed to sleep/have sex
avec moi= with me
ce soi= night/evening (more informal, no specific date/time)

Though I've often wondered if maybe there's a word or two missing in between "avec moi" and "ce soi"... guess that's why most use the layman's meaning.

"Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.

My birth language is Belgian French, but I've lived in Australia that long that English is my "first" language.

Google translate can be a great help, but it did cause me a bit of a problem once. There was a girl on here living in England but from Lithuania. I thought I'd be smart. I wrote a message in English, and below that, I put Google's version of that message in Lithuanian. Apparently, according to Google my greeting in English became a comment that she was a transvestite and the rest was gibberish.

Hopefully it's gotten better

That is a very erotic and sexy quote. I love the erotic images of the posters.

I have been to Argentina and it is a wonderful country with wonderful friendly people. I like your translation tutorial. I would have never known. I have yet to figure out how to respond to a comment on my blog pics. Perhaps you could share with me the method. I always enjoy your comments on my posts. I try to put up very erotic images and of the best quality that I take.

I have been traveling and busy with work, so little time to view and comment on here. Stay well. Happy 4th of July.

use [post 4400278] in your messages.

I don't think I've ever read a Blog written in another language. Nor have I never seen the pop up for translation. I'll have to look for it, never know when you might find a good blog in another language. As for a second language for me? Yeah I took some French lessons in Middle School, a nine week course. As well as some American Sign Language classes, about the only thing I can remember from those is how to sign my own first name, or for the French how to tell people what my first name is. I do know a bit of German, hearing my Father speak it at home sometimes. He of course picked up the language at home as well. Hearing his parents and Grandparents speak it when he was growing up, and during his tour of duty in WWII as a PFC in the U.S. army. Any who..have a good one my friend!

I once learned a little sign but I forgotten most by now . I once asked on the advice line if they thought it would be possible to come up with universal sign langue ? Boy did they hoot and holler what a dumb ideal ....

This song got popular at school when I was a teen. We very briefly discussed it in my French 2 class. After that it was eliminated from the pom chicks routines, LOL.
