Ya, he did ... the battery and alternator are a given. Then, he went on and listed three other things for preventative maintenance. It's like dude, got a barter system?!

Consider myself lucky - could have needed a whole new engine. Which could have translated into not worth it = have to get a new car ...

My girl will be back home tomorrow - YAY!!

 Oh my friend I am so sorry that's a lot of money, but it seems cars are just so much more expensive than they used to be to fix them. I hope all goes well and your car is home today like you want. I hope you enjoy your weekend..

Cars are one of those things that most can't live without, despite the high cost of maintaining it. They called at like 8 in the morning. Called uber and headed over. 800 bucks later, headed to Walmart. Was able to get my shopping in for an early dinner, tho, a bit frazzled to attempt London Broil - LOL ... went with chicken again ... think starting to grow feathers here! A safe and fabo weekend to you, my dear friend ...
