Another riveting Saturday night at the complex.... Tensions are as a new White Trash Baby Mama has moved in next door! The hallway smells like pot, her rug rats trample through her apartment non stop 24-7, and she has ALSO decided she is the new owner of the handicap parking spot. Mrs. Wolowitz is having no part of that! This could be a new reality series.... Parking Spot Wars Who will be the victor?? Who will have to walk an additional ten feet to get into the building??? It's anybody's guess!!! Personally, since neither of them have a handicap plate, I don't think either of them should be parking there. But, I digress.... In other news, the on-again / off-again relationship between Apartment Complex Stud and his wife appears to be off-again once more. I was actually pretty certain he was evicted last month when I saw the eviction notice taped to his door. Yet, he still remains! He's got the 9 lives of apartments..... fairly certain this is the THIRD time I've thought he was gone to have him rise back up from the dead, like a tattooed phoenix in a rusty black truck, hitting on chicks in the parking lot and asking strangers how they like his truck. It's a mystery. As for yours truly, it's the same old, same old. I actually feel pretty good a the moment right now, though.... Spent the pampering myself a little. Charcoal mask, foot creams, white sand, sugar scrub in the shower from head to toe... A nice long soak in the tub. Just what I needed, I think I haven't been feeling all that good about myself today, it would have been my 19th wedding anniversary if I were still married. In an odd twist of events, my ex husband actually asked on a date for tonight. Some things just aren't meant to be, and that's one of them, so I said no. I can't keep making all those same mistakes over and over again. For now, I'll settle for a nice Saturday in, smelling like coconut and cucumber, watching gritty crime shows with the kitty.  |

You married on a Wednesday? While you might still have some mourning over the failure, has your life been better since you have divorced. It seems that you are at least civil with your ex-husband. And you Spawn gives you joy as well. You are valuable to many. Feel good about yourself.

Oh how I remember apartment life and the drama and fun or torture it can be. Sometimes I miss the friends I had in my hall and then again, I don't miss the morons that moved in like the one you mentioned and all the bs that came with them. ugh. I have a peeve with people parking in handicap spaces that do not have a license or card to do so , so I just take a photo and call the police and make a report and they usually send out someone to give them a nice $200.00 ticket .. lol I am glad however that you managed to pamper yourself today and that maybe you are feeling refreshed and better for it. As for the ex asking about a date, I would have said no also ... good for you and your willpower ... I always think that ex's are ex's for a reason. Have a pleasant and peaceful evening.

I have some sugar scrub I've been using that I really like. I was making salt scrub, but it's a little harsh if you have any skin irritation. The sugar doesn't sting. I need to add some fragrance to it...maybe some lemongrass or cranberry woods (spicy).

Ugh, I had a friend who lived in what she called a co-op but it was like an apartment to me. One day I was laughing and she shushed me, pointing to the wall and saying how it was paper thin. I can't imagine paying property taxes and not being able to laugh as loud as I wanted to! White Trash Baby Mama sounds like the last person you want for a neighbor.
