A Most Beautiful Boy Have you ever taken a look at someone and your heart just goes.... Pitter patter? Love at first sight! No words spoken, just a look, a feeling, an all knowing. This used to happen to me often, when I was younger, not so much anymore. Anymore I am busy, and my mind is occupied, I spend the majority of my day seeing but not seeing what is all around me. Who is all around me. The Spawn and I went to the mall in TC yesterday. She'd seen an older photo of me, from back in the days when I used to put forth effort in my makeup stylings, and had convinced me this is something that needs to be done once again! "Your eyes are so blue! Why are your eyes so blue?!? You should be wearing eyeliner to make them pop!" The Spawn then went on to demand to know why I cursed her with brown eyes and called me selfish. Oh, what a stinker. It was while we were at Target that I spied him..... I was contemplating a clay mud<b> mask </font></b>purchase when i glanced up. And he was looking at me. It was as if I was frozen in place and I found myself staring back at him.... "Mom! You aren't listening to me. You really need to get new brushes. How old is your eyeshadow brush?!? You've been using it for like twenty years, have you ever even cleaned it??" The trance was broken and I looked over at the Spawn as she continued to give me shit about my 'antique' makeup applicator brushes and lectured me on proper application. When I looked back in his direction, he was gone. All that was left in his place was a nearly naked mannequin and a woman looking at a handbag. But it left me wondering..... What if? What if I hadn't been there with the Spawn, would I have said Hi? Would he have approached me? What if our paths were meant to cross, it just happened to be the wrong time and place? I may never know. I do know one thing, though... The moment I saw him standing there, my heart went pitter patter. Happy Sunday! |

Good for you! This is a sign that life is still alive inside. Be ready next time, and there will be a next time , life is full of them. Put on that matching eye liner, dress to kill once in a while, go out and strut your stuff, and some day you will see him looking back at you!! Have those eyes ready.. They can say a lot in just a few blinks!!!

I really like boobwhisperer69 answer as well as jolielaide answer. I will say this I think you're great. You've got a great personality I like how you can sound so toff but deep down you're sweet and kind especially to your children. I have and still do at times get the feeling that you did. It reminds me I'm still alive inside, and that there maybe hope again. So when I go out even if it's to the store I will try to look presentable just "in case".  The sweet, kind people are usually the ones that get hurt the most.

I had a moment like that at the store once. I left my cart and started to approach her when she side stepped me and held up a can and I suddenly realized she was looking at her husband standing behind me. Wow! How close I came to making a total ass out of myself.

Was it a youngun? I have felt that feeling and wrote about it in my blog. We did talk; cuz his dog peed on my leg! But that rush, that twinge, that "be still my heart" feeling...it's delicious fun, isn't it?! btw, did you update your brush??

It a new year Take time for yourself You move to a nicer place Pamper yourself You work to had Deal with to many things Day to day Go for a day out a massage lunch (on your own) Get a make over hair ,done on a Friday Then go out see who turns their heads Walks up to you talks to you Se the beauty that is glowing from you And if he ask for your number give it to him Or if he ask you ba , to his place go And let it all out I'm betting you both will blow each other mined out..... Yes I have experienced several pitter patters in over 40 yrs of relationships, & still do while I'm out & about these days, so yes, these days I even attempt contact if I feel the energy might be mutual, no sparks ....yet, 'tho a few friendships def developing, big warm horny hugs from London UK, Mark x I hope.

It's been a while for me too.... I don't notice things because I'm always on a mission. Gotta get something for dinner.... Who's texting me now?? Is that food dribbled down the front of my shirt? Why is this ALWAYS happening??? I need to stop and take a breather once in a while, take in what is happening around me. Live in the moment, for a change, and not constantly worry about what I need to do next.

It's great that you can still feel that pitter-patter. I truly hope that one day in the very distant future that you'll also experience that feeling with the person you've been with for the next 20-30-40 years!
