 Today we have the pre lighted Christmas tree. No more strings of lights. Not really a fan of that either.

 When I had a house, I would put a few lights around the porch rail. I like holiday lights in the dark of winter, though I agree some people go overboard.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
