be polit...be as friendly as you can ...but tell the truth. In the end it is pretty much always the best way. There you go That's all and none of it tragic.

I think we all want honesty!

So what we are saying is that those of us that have commented, we'd all prefer to be told directly and to tell anyone we meet / talk to the truth if we are just not attracted. Well I think that's really honourable but, it might indicate why so few have commented on this blog compared with the amount that have read it. Can we take it that the"others" are not inclined in the same way?

We've tried most ways. 1) Been polite and honest- most times led to abuse! 2) Ignored the photo being sent- most times led to abuse! 3) Told them they weren't our type- led to abuse! This is a personal site and obviously being told you aren't attractive by someone , people have a tendency to take it personally. You can say more diplomatic things like " I don't think we match," or " There isn't chemistry", but it still boils down to how the other couple decides to take it. There isn't an easy way to tell someone... if you care about hurting someone's feelings and you are genuinely nice people. Sometimes, just saying you'd like to meet sometime and never do, is all it takes! x Otherwise just be honest and realise you are highly unlikely to meet again so tell the 'tactful' truth! Be careful you don't meet up in a club somewhere later though as we've done! lol

I would much rather here "thanks but no thanks" than be left hanging & wondering. We're all different & like different things/people. If someone says no thanks I tend to reply with "no worries & have fun" & move on. What's the point in sending abuse to someone? What a waste of time!
