Journey to better health
Journey to better health Hi. I thought I'd start this as a way to track my weight loss and overall journey to getting healthier. Also, I'd like to find some support here to help keep me going and to support others as well if they are on a similar journey. I bought a elliptical machine in Nov. Since then i lost 4.5pds in Nov. Dec there was no change. Jan i lost 1pd. Total 5.5pds to date. My energy has gotten better and my sleep has gotten more regular, provided my RLS doesn't act up lol. My back has gotten worse, but that may be a result of my body taking shape and my old mattress which i now know i need to replace sooner than later. Will add a pic soon as a way to rack my progress. Hope to add a new pic every month as a way to see results over a longer period of time. With more eyes looking at my results, hopefully you will see changes that i miss, as I'm not the most observant when it comes to my own body. I'm taking a long term approach. I'm fine with slow progress, so long as there's progress |

I didn't give up but I did break my laptop lol. was at the doctors yesterday and lost another 3pds that's 8.5pds since I started. yay me!

did 30mins today on workout #3 on my elliptical. burned 431 and had about 40-50 more rpm over the course of the 30mins. was abit easier to handle as the rpm only topped out at 60rpms over the 30mins where as on workout #2 it tops out at 70. Maybe ill stay on #3 for a bit then go back to #2. also, should i just keep adding to this blog here or am i supposed to make it new every time? never did a blog before so any tips on how to use this function would be nice. Tuesday is big as i go to the doctor to see what i weight. hoping i drop 2pds to go to 230. cross my fingers

only did a 20min workout today. felt like crap as i didn't get much sleep. fell asleep around 11pm. woke up at 2am. never really got to sleep til after 6am, but it was more like nodding off repeatedly then sleeping. 236cals today tho. better to do something than skip a day i guess.

thx so much for the encouragement GixxerLust. you make i nice goal 431 cals today. felt sluggish and weak today. probably cuz i didnt sleep well and got up a couple hours earlier than normal. so, correct me if I'm wrong but, changing your work out time can help train your body to be better all the time, as opposed to being ready to go at the same time of day. If that makes any sense lol

435 cals today in my 30mins. also did a few lower back stretches and a few push ups after i was done. push ups were abit much tho lol. think ill try a different Youtube video for my back net time tho, as i didn't feel much as i was doing them. even tho the girl was hot

just finished my workout and burned 433 cals in my 30min workout. atleast thats what the machine said lol. plus i actually got through the workout at the settings it put in front of me. good day i think.
