Sunday evening

I am on the back patio.
Cool and a breeze but not cold.
There won’t be many more evenings like this for a while.
I have a glass of Bordeaux.
Listening to the wind rejuvenates me.
Put the kayaks away today.
One of those things I should make more time for.
One of those things that sounded like something I would use often.
Really, though, give me the breeze and a glass of wine and someone to talk to, or a book.
Maybe a fire.
I would always rather share the fire and the breeze and the wine.
I would always prefer to spend time on a winding conversation.
