 I'm not sure I would sit in a car with a guy until we had at least had a coffee... what if he locked the doors and drove off?

I understand, dumb move on my part. We can be pretty trusting up here. I believe that most people are good. I made sure to have my phone on me and something to gouge with if needed. I’m not totally trusting; just mostly. AND it was broad daylight and i did have someone knowing what I was up to I could get in touch with fast if anything went really bad and he would have been there within minutes.
