Prelude to Whatever from "That Saturday Night ... Fever" part 3.

And so, sorta recap ...

After deciding leave and the Professor offering a ride, no strings attached except what I wanted ... and telling I wanted go home and stressing my concern and that someone advise his half dozen or couples of guests/friends/associates who were expecting ... . And then, the sound of silence for too long; I mean did he hear me? did he want me to add or finish with a "rain check" for myself for his friends?

And that "no strings attached ... except what I wanted"; so what did I want? what did he think I wanted? what do I want to say I want? I wanted to "leave the door open", no, I wanted more, I wanted to "reserve a seat", "book the adventure" ... book a room ... but with only a deposit. Also, I wanted to have an excuse, no, a very plausible excuse to ... not shut the door.

But, with all this mental squirming, it was the Professor who broke the silence, "Kaycee, why don't you get your bag and sweater and meet me at my limo in a few minutes." And that, tainted with "authority" and punctuated with a "knowing", almost smug smile from him, I turned ... to do his bidding, and ... as a favor for myself, also.

A few minutes later, and the service door at the back of the house to the small parking lot erupted with "them", not him, and they "both got into the front seat, while me, the "Princess" now alone in the back ... late at night, men in the front seat, lots of remote areas and an hour ride ... but he did say "limo" plus the Professor is more or less only a Voyeur so probably all right, and his driver, "Jimmy", although I thought a rather crude, immature, snotty little boy is perhaps just a necessary evil, part of the limo. And thinking a bit more about it, the immediate scenario, both of them up in the front seat, maybe just considerate, so I could get some rest if I wanted. So, probably nothing more imagine, think about, no worries here.

And with the idea of a rest in mind, I leaned forward and interrupted them offer directions my house which the Professor leaned back meet my gaze with, "Don't worry "Baby", Jimmy knows the way" ... and Jimmy, perhaps noting the Professor's much more familiar reference , briefly turned his head towards us and joined his boss with a grin ...
... xox Kaycee.
