very true but I will say this. I am a huge advocate for consent but struggle with this example for 2 reasons. 1) i never even knew consent was even a thing in regards to dick pics (so consent mattered to me but i initially didnt know consent was needed for pics), but also bc what other images on the face of the earth do you really consent to? Movies, museums, the real world, all take place without our consent. If you make the argument that people willingly enter to the movies and museums then why does that logic not follow for specific websites or the internet in general.
I dont really see why guys open with dick pics given how so few woman seem to prefer a dick pic first. However, i dont think its necessarily a reflection of how most guys think but i could be wrong. Either way, consent was never a thing of the past so Im not sure why theres an attitude of like "how could you guys really not know this needs consent by now" but there wasnt a date worldwide where everone had to start asking for consent for dick pics.
Im not trying to sit here and defend dick pics entirely but just tryign to offer a opposite perspective on a cuntraversial l subject
