Have a good one people....

Reprinted to keep the word Gremlins at bay...

Woke up the same way. It's the heat that did it. Near ninety degrees yesterday working in enclosed stairwells cleaning them it felt like the temps were well above one hundred. By the end of the day I was covered in sweat, and with the dirt from the stairwells flying as I swept them down covered in dirt as well.

But Monday is over, and the major task for the week is done with. Today I assume I'll be getting back into units to get them ready for the painters to do their work, or going back into units to clean up after paint jobs that have been finished in units that I've already done once. On average I have to do ( clean ) the same unit three times. Not because I've missed something or screwed something up, but to clean up the messes left by other people. Then if the unit isn't rented right away, back in once more to prep it for when it does get rented.

The last month of the summer is when we usually rent the most places, students returning for the fall term at colleges, the local medical and dental schools. Snapping up vacant units like someone eating popcorn. With the virus still out there, the units are sitting idle and empty. Why go and rent a place far from home to attend school? With most collages still in flux as to how they want to operate the fall term ( online or on site ) Better to stay at home and save the cost on the rent right?

As for our local public school system, they have opted for a hybrid way to at least to start the school year. Using both online and in person classes. With some of the kids going on certain days, others going on others and when the students are not attending on site classes, they take the on line ones. Masks are optional when attending on site classes. I don't know how the whole thing will play out, if it will work or not? That remains to be seen. As for my grand kids, their mom and dad will be enrolling them into the states on line school this year. With the number of those being testing positive going up on a daily basis across the nation it's better to be safe then sorry.

Me? heck I'd be happy just having enough cleaning supplies to be able to do my job properly. Finding chemicals to clean with in stores is like searching for a needle in a hay stack. When places do get supplies in they sell out fast. Your limited to the number of products you can get. Or, they ( the products ) are only available in smaller quantity sizes. The boss buys what he can, but my supply runs out faster and faster with all the extra cleaning that I do now to combat the virus.

Yes, I went to bed tired and woke up the same way. I guess that's the new normal? I think we're all tired of it .

Off to shower now.....

I think it be more like a Brady Bunch type of photo rather than a group shot. But I hear ya, with all those on-line cartoon photos instead of their real ones. Have a good one Cowboy!
