Because sometimes things that don't seem to go together, just do.

The boss was off yesterday. Hunting? Fishing? Who knows? The only note he left me on the long list of things for the other guy to do, about what I was to do, was "Remind Tim to make sure the move in's are ready." Yeah with three move in's, two for yesterday and one for today, doing them took about an hour to do. Which left me with copious amounts of time to figure out what to do for the rest of my work day. I managed to fill my day out doing things I don't normally do, or often get the chance to do.

I repaired my son's recliner yesterday, left here because he couldn't fit it in the moving van with all of his other stuff when he moved out. It's one of those chairs you can take apart, take the back off to move it around more easily. Well, when he did that the last time ( removed the back ) he failed to put it back on properly. The two pieces that would normally slide together to secure the back on one side weren't connected properly. Thus giving the chair a skewed lean to one side and no support there. An easy fix really, and the chair looks like a new one now.

I plan on keeping the chair in what is to become my den. ( the second bedroom in my apartment ) The bedrooms here are small, so small that not all of my bedroom furniture will fit in the room at the same time and still have space to move about freely. So, along with the chair, I'll keep my dresser, chest, and my computer table... Yeah have to shop for one of those. A new desk will look great on the one wall. Then I can toss out the multi level corner one I have now that's seen better days. A new desk chair is in order as well. The one I have now has seen better days itself.

Well it's Saturday...yeah I still have to work. Middle of the month I'll have to run sanitizer through all the washing machines today. That is if I can get in there before the lady who works third shift all week except for weekends does and starts her laundry. Up all night with nothing to do she takes the time to do two or three loads just when i'm going in there to clean, even at the but crack of dawn. Trust me I've tried going in even earlier to get a head of her but never seem to do so.

Any who, I'm off to shower now....

i thought i was going to lose it yesterday with the company's mis-projection of my time management. my manager decided he would dispatch files evenly over the weekend on sunday night so we have an equal workload. he knows i am the earliest early bird. he swore i would have files on the ready when i started. he had personal emergency this weekend and didn't get files out. i waited for hours for a file. by the time i got files i was able to eeks out two completed files before it was time to end my shift. i asked him if he wanted me to extend my shift to get more done and he said no. last week i had a day where i managed my own dispatches. i got 12 files does. so the two is like bad. and i have piles of widgets that got dispatched once i was logged off. now i am not sure how i am catching up by the end of my business week. like normally i would start now at 130am but i have to talk to some people during business hours in another time zone before i end my business day today... and i'm not a fan of starting and stopping. i'd rather start and keep going until it's time to stop.

so have you found a magic time to sanitize?

A magic time. Nope..I do it when I get a chance. This past weekend thankfully the third shifter wasn't in.
