Watched the first three shows of the first season of Star Trek Picard last night. All I can say is Wow! It's shaping up to be a rather interesting series so far. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of season one.

Okay enough geeking out. The den, and subsequently my bedroom are now back in order. Still a few odds and ends to move around in my bedroom. But the Den is pretty much done now. I still haven't folded my laundry, but then a few wrinkled items of clothing is not a big deal in my book. Heck, I don't think I even own an iron for ironing clothes anymore. Not that it matters but I haven't worn a dress shirt in ages.

Work was dull yesterday, the boss has taken another vacation. Off hunting I expect. Sitting in a tree stand once again somewhere deep in the woods. His last adventure only produced a "one that got away story " Seems his crossbow miss fired and the Deer he was aiming for bounded away. At work, the new guy was looking to me for direction. Why I have no idea? The boss gave him a list of things to do while he was away ( nothing on the list for me though ) but it seemed like he, the new guy was unsure still on how to proceed. Should he go here and do this first or go there and do that? The do this chore was to repair the floor in one of the empty units bathrooms, the do that was to finish the calking job in another so it would be ready for a show unit. I told him do do the "do that chore" first. The floor repair would take more time to do involving a few days to get done. The calking job needed done so the other unit could be shown if needed by the PM. Simple really. But he still needed my direction for some reason on it.

Me I did what I always do on Mondays. Clean stairwells. After finishing that task, went over and prepped the unit the new guy finished calking so it would look nice and pretty in case we had any prospective tenets wander in to view units. So, like I said..a dull day for me really. My biggest chore of the day was cleaning up all the bags of crap that fell off the dumpster bins when the guy dumped them.

Any who, time for me to jump into the shower....

We are Trekkies too! I haven't seen any Picard yet.

I feel goofy. Until I started reading your blog I had no idea anyone ever cleaned stairwells. I swept my stoop and part of the stairwell when we lived in apartments but I admit it was to keep my space clean and tidy. I just swept it all out to the grassy area.
