 It looks like that's where were headed. I'd curse, but what would be the point? The CDC has recommended that even those of us who have gotten our shots go back to wearing a mask indoors. Oh what fun, not. The CDC has also suggested that school children wear masks, along with staff, Teachers, etc. when school starts in the Fall.

I'd just gotten used to leaving the house and not worrying if I remembered to stuff one in my pocket for use when needed. While there have been no mandates either local or state wide as of yet I can't help but feel that if people had just gotten the shots when they could have we wouldn't be facing this again.

We had this bug on the ropes, ready for the knock out punch and then Delta gives it a second wind and it comes back fighting, hitting us harder then it did before. For the love of Mike people, just get the shots if you haven't already. Please. I don't care about me, or you for that matter, I worry about my grands..they're too young yet to get the shots. Yes, the older two still wear their masks when they are out and about, it's one of their Mom's rules, and one I'm glad she has for them. The grands actually insist on it themselves. They get more upset when they can't find their masks then they would if they misplaced their I-Pads or video game devices. They youngest of the three, a toddler won't leave hers on...she doesn't understand that simply breathing when out and about could make her sick, or worse. The look in her eyes when she's standing at the front door watching her brother and sister outside in the front yard paying, as all kids love to do in the summer... is enough to break this old mans heart. She'd like to run and play with her siblings..but can't.

So, please...get the shots.

 We have not stopped wearing masks, I will ne wearing them for a while, Delta variant striong. The children under 12 are not yet vaccinated, hopefully they will have sorted out for start of school year. Stay safe everyone
