But since I have to stop by the pharmacy this week to pick up some refills I'll see if I can get something scheduled for after Christmas.

In chatting with my daughter this past weekend among other things we discussed was what they ( her and her S.O. ) wanted for a Christmas gift from me. Well she said that since I ponied up the dough as a loan to them for a down payment so she could get her SUV that I didn't need to get them anything this year. Yeah right.... I'm of a belief that every Who in Whoville should receive a gift. No matter how big or how small. That's just the way I roll.

I can remember years starting out after I first got married, working part time jobs, living at the in-laws, and not being able to buy the things I wished I could for my now ex wife and the minions at Christmas. The thing was that I didn't care if I got gifts in exchange...it's just that knowing that I couldn't get them what they truly wished for a made Christmas little bluer for me even though I knew they were happy with the gifts I did get them.

Yeah I know, Christmas is about being together with those you love and the gifts should be secondary , but nothing can beat the smile of shouts of joy as they open that "One" gift they were hoping for. Something that they least expected they'd get. Frankly that's a gift I never want to lose. To hear those shouts and see those smiles is the best gift I've ever gotten.

Any who.. time for me to go and get my hair cut now....

It is cliche but true, health is #1 and having someone loving you and who is close to you is right there with it. Have a great Christmas and New year and any other holiday you celebrate!

... ...I feel exactly the same as you do. Usually I get that look from the Mrs. because I spoil her as her Birthday is also 25th

I loved Christmas when my kids were young even though times were tough and money was really tight. After they got bigger and didn't believe in the old guy, it took away the magic. Sadly it never came back
