Growing up as a ....
Growing up as a in New Jersey, the local paper would have s contest of a picture of an object. You were suppose identify what the object in the photo was. I thought that I would give it a try.

Can you identify the object below? It’s a wall anchor. Thank you to those who guessed

 Looks like the behind the wall end of a molly. The item you use to hang heavy stuff in drywall.

 The item in the picture is a drywall anchor . So a good guess by a few.
