Under the velvety purple skies

eerily bathed in the full moon's

haunting silvery light werewolves

savagely crunch the ghostly white

bones of their victims howling

victoriously while bats screech

calling out the phantoms who rise

beneath ghostly shadows as spooky

black cats dance upon the ancient

headstones of the dead and witches

cackle with fiendish delight as they

stir their bubbling cauldrons in

celebration of Halloween's arrival.
