Who am I?

HI,

I am a NC born and bread boy, but not your typical home grown North Carolinian. My parents were both born and raised on subsistent farms as and moved into factory work because it was easier than farm work.

I grew up eating canned vegetables in mason jars in the winter and eating out of a garden in the summer.

I love gravy and biscuits, pinto beans and cornbread, livermush, chicken an dumplings, and banana pudding with a hot toasted merengue topping straight out of the oven.

I love sweet tea and coffee.

I am dyslexic which makes it a real challenge to read sometimes but it has improved over the years once I was finally diagnosed with it.

My dyslexia was not kind to me as a youth. I has my 2nd Grade Teacher keep me after class and tell me how stupid I was thinking that humiliating me would make me work harder. I didn't work. If anything I stopped trying.

As a result I gravitated to things that did not require reading or writing to find something that I would be good at or excel in.

I was fascinated the space race and NASA during the late 60s and was also a huge Star Trek fan from that time. I starting dancing (tap dancing) around my early elementry school years and love watch the movie musicals from the 30s 40s and 50s. Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and Donald O'Conner. From tap dance, my dance instructor convinced to take ballet classes. It was the thing that could do that I got praised for and I continued doing it until I left home and added the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem my senior year of high school. I was where I belonged or at least I did then.

3 years of ballet study and then I was hired by an professional company. My dance career lasted for 8 years. I travel to 47 out of 50 states in the US, traveled to Canada, and to Europe during that time.

Retired in 1990 from dance.

It too me 10s to figure out what I was going to do after dance. I got married, we had three sons. I got an Associates Degree from a community college and got into Information Technologies (aka..puters and networking_) I was hire by one of the largest IT tech companies in the world and have been working in IT ever since.

I now look forward to retirement with my wife, hopefully at the beach one day.

I am here because my wife has lost her interest in sex since reaching menopause. She also has some physical challenges that make sex challenging for her to tolerate and with those hurtles, I do not blame her, but I also can not just curl up in a ball and die either. I do not want to go gentle into that good night. Sex is a very important part of my life and it has great health benefits. I know it's selfish but I have been a very good boy for too too long and I have waited and waited and now this. I can not and will no neuter myself because my partner has lost interest.
