If your last relationship still feels fresh in your mind, even if it ended a long time ago, you should probably wait before diving into a new one. Any lingering feelings of bitterness, jealousy, or sorrow could easily seep into your new relationship. Without even realizing it, those leftover feelings might cause you to sabotage what you have with a new partner, even if it could have been great without the emotional baggage.

 if your relationship was over long ago and is still fresh in your mind, you need professional help.
it is impossible to go through life without picking up baggage... it is after all the past that we use to form our future.

 I have baggage from my last relationship. I'm working on getting rid of it but it's not as easy as I would like.

 When you break up with someone there really shouldn't be any lingering feelings especially if that person was not a good person. Just saying from past experience, I am glad that person is gone forever and out of my life..May he RIP!!!
