As much as i love this site, i realize i am competing against other men for women's attention , i'm also competing against technical issues with the site itself.

I can deal with being cock-blocked by competition and incompatibility. That's part of the game, but when a service i pay money to help me improve my love life actually seems to be working against it, something must be done.

So i'm posting this as my secondary mailbox, feel free to leave me a message here. It won't show up for anyone else to see. Even standard memebers can post to blogs.

Hey TSdates.com 'ers! I'll be at the Tulsa's Green Door swinger's club on the following dates:

December 3rd

I'm the house photographer there and i specialize in adult portraits and chroma-key photography. This means we can use any area of the club or my stock backgrounds as part of your picture.

The possibilities are endless.. and it's whatever you want. You call the shots, I just shoot the pictures. Do you want pictures for your profile that stand out and don't look like a cell phone in a mirror? Want some pictures of you and your partner in action, without inviting some stranger into your home?

I have a good reputation and pride myself on confidentiality (which goes hand-in-hand with the lifestyle). Ask around, I'm known.

(note: this post is set so comments DO NOT show to anyone but you and me)

Red Light District Epiphanies

I am having a great time in Amsterdam, I've traveled the canals of the city taking hundreds of awesome pictures of ships, the architecture, the shops, the people, and even a little of the Red Light District.

The food is pretty cool too. I can't even name half the stuff i've eaten, but i know i liked it. The restaurants range from gourmet to fast food, and street vendors. Among this veritable smorgasbord stands a chain of fast food restaurants called Febo. Febo's most distinguishing feature is the way they serve their food. Basically it's cooked and then placed in vending windows. You walk up, open the door and remove your food. It's quick, easy. As long as it's in the window it's available. Whether it's a single Euro for a croquette to snack on or several for the double burger with fries and drink.

The closest Febo to my hotel room is in the Red Light District, Amsterdam's notorious zone. Most of it is conducted by women who sit/stand scantily clad in red lighted windows. People walk by, if a man is interested in one of the women, he stops, she opens the door, they negotiate, and they do their thing.

It was while I was sitting in a coffee shop when the realization came to me that Febo and the RLD pretty much work the same way.

I am having the time of my life in Amsterdam. Aside from the coffee shops, the canals, the architecture, and the huge crowds of people, this town has a total laid back party vibe.

Tomorrow's plan is to ride a bunch of canal cruises around the city taking pictures.

Friday my flight leaves for Amsterdam and it's still not "real" in my head yet. However i got a ton of stuff i gotta get done. This weekend didn't help much either.

Saturday night i worked at the Green Door, and made a little bit of money. Didn't get laid, but at least didn't get teased either.

Sunday was spent hangign out downtown with the Occupy Tulsa group, i shot almost 500 pictures in about 12 hours from my arrival to after the police arrested the protesters.

There was a humorous moment when one of the groups organizers spotted an undercover police surveillance van and led a bunch of people to get their picture taken posing in front of the van.

I commented back to her on the way back to the park "if homeland security singles me out, i'm going to call you and bitch for hours"

I keep thinking i should probably start emailing some TSdates.com women in Amsterdam and see if any want to play tour guide.

In an email with a fellow TSdates.com'er the person i was corresponding with was discussing the quality of emails she recieved:

EXACTLY!! If they would just tell in school that reading and writing will help get you LAID...then maybe less people would be ILLITERATE!

> Oh and the emails... don't start me there. It's like decoding 2nd grade homework! I'd kick either of my butts if they ever engaged in written communication done that poorly. Ugh!

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Ever do something that can be mistaken as a good deed, but every step of the way you're sure it's gonna bite you in the ass ?

I did that to myself last night. I got a call from an ex girlfriend of mine. She's living in New York, got thrown out of her apartment by her abusive boyfriend and is about to run out of time to stay at the shelter. She's scared and needs a place to stay.

I reluctantly agreed to let T stay at my house if she can get herself down here.

This begs me to ask myself "what the hell are you thinking ?" This 3 bedroom/1 bath house already has 5 people living in it. My adult , a married couple, their adult and myself. The couch is already taken. Even the attic which can double as a bedroom (it's got AC/heat and a tall enough ceiling) is filled with stuff.

Obviously this puts her sleeping in my bed. Which means "hey i got a woman in my bed" but it also makes for problems if i want to bring home another woman. "sorry T, i'm sleeping with S tonight, you gotta grab some carpet or the love seat" - I just don't see that being well received.

Once T arrives i will have to make it clear to her this is a very temporary thing. My desire to help my friend does not override my desire to shape my lifestyle to my liking.

(self-directed sarcasm) Good job Scott, nice mess!

It's a few minutes before 8 AM and i just pushed Ms. Conflicted out the door. I probably should have kicked her out last night, but i like to think i'm a little nicer then that.

It started out last week when Ms. Conflicted dropped my my workplace. I've known her for a good decade and a half. We started chatting and eventually the conversation turned to how much fun we used to have hanging out together (dating).

Eventually it was decided we'd go out Friday night. The work week passes, i get involved with the photographing the Occupy Tulsa movement and end up inviting her out there with me Friday.

So we go out there, watch the protesters and the police each do their respective thing. Come back home after midnight and get ready for bed (she indicated she wanted to spend the night)

Next we're under the covers, the lights are off and we're making out pretty hot and heavy. I reach to pull her panties off and she says "whoa, let's hold off".

I ask her "what's wrong?" she says "nothing, i just don't want to rush into this, i'm not that kind of girl"

Quickly thinking back to our previous dates i now recall why i stopped messing with her. Yes she put out, but it was after playing the "please....don't.....stop" game.

In the space of a second my attitude changed too. I went from aroused to being annoyed. I think back to the other women i've slept with just this week alone and how they got put aside so i could date this game player. i was as mad at myself as i was at her.

I decided i wasn't playing, and i wasn't going to waste sleep time on her either. So i gave her a kiss on the forehead and said "goodnight" rolled over and willed myself to sleep. As i said earlier i should have kicked her out of bed and made her do the 45 minute drive back to Muskogee at 2 in the morning.

This morning the speech i had composed in my head, but didnt' share with her went something like this:

I recognize that you have the right to refuse sexual relations at any time in any circumstances. It is your right and i respect it. However I cannot respect the fact that you ended up wasting my time and attention. I consider it an extremely unfair abuse of your rights for you to come undressed to my bed, get things started and then tell me "stop". I strongly suspect that had i pushed the issue we would have ended up having sex. I despise the fact that your actions have put me in the position of committing if i wish to get laid.

Instead i gave her a kiss as she left my house and falsely promised "i'll call ya". Maybe i'll go out again with her sometime in the 2020s. or NOT!

What would you have done ?

Occupy Tulsa 11-2-11

In the news today was a report about Occupy Tulsa protesters being arrested and maced with pepper spray. A followup article said that the protesters planned on defying the police again. I was curious to see what would happen.

So around 9 I grabbed my camera and headed down there.

I'll skip the play-by-plays since you can always just watch the news. What i wanted to convey was just how good the whole thing left me feeling to be a part of.

First off, i agree in principal with the Occupy Tulsa movement, the system is weighted in favor of the rich and powerful. Abuses occur and we all end up paying for it.

Where i differ from them is in my personal belief that this is bad. I don't think so. The system endures with all it's imperfections because it is sustainable. Yes we've had a economic meltdown, but those occur too. I think the Occupy movements are naive in their belief they can accomplish much change, but i applaud and support their desire to do so, especially if they handle the way i saw tonight.

I take an almost natural selection attitude when it comes to wealth, if you're one of the ones who has it, you're going to use it to make sure you keep it, and if you don't have it...well this is still the best/easiest country to have a "rags to riches" story in.

Anyway, what i saw when i was out there was a bunch of people (most younger then me) braving the cold wet rain to make their voices heard. They and the police behaved respectfully of each other. The cops did their job and the protesters did theirs. Democracy in action. Pay attention world, this is how it's done! It made me proud to be an American and a Tulsan.

As i sit here getting ready to start my day, i read an email from my friend Jon B in which he's talking about how excited he is that we have less then 3 weeks before our European Vacation starts.

He and i are going to Amsterdam the week of Thanksgiving. In his email he's bragging about how slim and fit he is. He's been cycling regularly and getting in shape for his Amsterdam trip. As a matter of fact he says he hasn't been in this good of shape since boot camp some 20 years ago.

I had to email him back telling him that i too have been training for the trip. However my training seems to consists of partying all night and then going to work the next day.
I figure he'll look good and fit passed out while i'm still going strong

Much Better Monday

Monday worked out well after all.

It started out tame enough, got to work, dealt with stuff, paid some bills.

I cut out early because i had a photo shoot at the same bar i was at last monday. Sci-Fi convention attendees would call it custom chroma-key cos-play photography. Basicly i was taking pictures of people in their Halloween costumes and then finding backgrounds that either went with or highlighted their costume. For example, the bartender who dressed as Dorothy complete with red slippers, got put in front of a picture of a tornado.

It was also ladies night, this time i witnessed it from start to end. My original impression remains the same, it's not a meat market, it's more like a salvage yard. (i could write a whole other blog on my impressions of what i saw)

But all in all i had a good time, and left the bar with more money then i arrived with, so we'll call this one a success.

It's 6 am and i'm winding down from a great night at The Green Door.

I got there around 8 PM, and most of the other staff were already here, the club started filling up quickly. Almost everyone was in costume. Nobody even noticed me till sometime after 10 when i started doing a photo shoot with a gal in a pirate lass costume. After that, everyone wanted one done. Had the club been open another couple of hours, i'm sure i would have spent them shooting as well.

I'd love to show you the pics from tonight, some of them were incredibly hot...but well... it don't work that way.

I also made a connection with an aspiring model who needs some portfolio work done. This might just be a boon to both of us.

All in all it was a great night! Now lets see if i can catch some sleep before tomorrow runs up on me.
