We were born and raised in Kentucky, snow every year, sleds, snow men and burying little sister in snow......
We moved to Lake City Fla. Christmas,1957.... it was COLD!
We r saying, We should be swimming, WTF?
Second week of January it "snowed?" An inch.....OMG!
We all put on our winter cloths, 6 off us, walked off to school, arrived and the school was locked up.....YEAH! So, following tradition, buried little sister in the snow, started for home! Damn, she always found her way back...lol!
We arrived home, little sister running, screaming and yelling in the background...
Mom says: What r u doing home?...SCHOOLS closed!!!!!!
Oh no, Not buying that, this ain't snow......get ur butts back to school!!!!
The next door neighbors came over and explained....
My big sister nailed their Mother with a snowball, two families battling in the snow......
"The good Ol' days..........

We came from Kentucky, cold and snow every year, after moving to Texas and the heat my Dad often said:
" I can always put on enough to stay warm, but can't take off enough to stay cool!"

Last month I got a suspicious message from a lady! Did not seem right so I sent her an EM asking if she had sent me a message and explained it looked "funny"
just wondering?
So I get a "nasty gram" telling me she NEVER sent me a msg, why am I accusing her and insulting her! Never said anything insulting or derogatory!
SO, I sent another msg saying her profile mite have been hacked, maybe someone else sent the msg, be cautious maybe someone had hacked her account!
THEN: I get a threating msg saying she as going to spread it to all my friends all over the internet how I insulted her and accused her.......
At this point I blocked her, reported to Site Support.
AND THE PLOT THICKENS......
I get another "Nasty Gram" form one of her friends threating me, blocked her.
"Never argue with a fool, bystanders won't know the differences"
NEXT CHAPTER...
Tonight , 01/04/21
Different friend, more threats! I did try to explain the situation to him, we will see!
So, should I get a new ID, move to some Third World Country....LOL?

In 1979 I was working in the computer service business in Dallas Tx.
One of our customers GM, Headquarters for the southwest , we were servicing their 'puter late one night, it was Rodeo week. After we were through we went up to the GM Executive club to have drink.
We were the only two in the club, to black men walked in, both in full cowboy dress, one of them, even after he took his hat off ,had to duck to get in the door!
My friend said WOW! That's Too Tall Jones and Charley Pride!
I knew they probably just wanted a quite drink, BUT My MOM loved Charley from his first recording, she had 45's, LP's, 8 Tracks and cassettes, everything he ever released.........
So, I walked over, apologized for disturbing them and told him about MOM!
He smiled, shook my hand, took a napkin, asked me what my mothers name was and signed it, "Bert, Thank you for being a big fan, Your friend Charley Pride..."
She already had a refrigerator magnet of him, that napkin stayed on the door for over 25 years......
