There are many views regarding who should be the dominant member in a relationship . Or even if a dominant partner is desirable. Or is a “co-equal” relationship preferable? Is dominance a mental thing, or physical? How does it manifest itself in a relationship sexually? I'm interested in what you all think...(note: my choice of words below is only to provoke thought and stimulate conversation, not to denigrate either gender) . Do you feel that men, by natural selection, are supposed to play the dominant role? Or do you feel some women are meant to take the lead in a relationship ? As you can see this post is kind of vague, I would like to stimulate some conversation on this subject.

 I think, for some people, there is a natural pre-disposition to one role or another. However, I do not think that one has to "always" participate during sex in that natural pre-disposition.

As a former collared sub (4 years), I do miss being in the submissive role, however as I have decided to not enter into a truly meaningful, lasting relationship again, I no longer assume that role.

 Well i from the generation where it was expected the lady to please her man in any way possible,i know it is different now,in this modern world but if you talking about just sex then i prefer my lover to be the dominant one,a beastly sexual stud if of course we on same page the chemistry is right
