Being alone for so long has made it hard to imagine what being loved could be like. I have become very independent and strong on the exterior. I am everybody's best friend and confidant. I am very approachable and friendly but have been told I am intimidating. I appear to be extremely happy and have a smile that brightens the room. I am the center of attention where ever i go. But I wear a mask all of the time to be strong for my family and friends. I am intelligent and intuitive. I am silly, sarcastic and quick witted making people laugh and feel comfortable. I am lovable by everyone but not lovable by a single man. I want to be loved but don't know how to be. And no...my little heart has not been broken and it doesn't need to be fixed. I'm just going to lay it on the line. I suffer from PTSD and I have yet to find somebody who understands, who is willing to learn or who has the patience to deal with some of the challenges associated with it. I'm putting it out there so that no one is mislead about who I am. This doesn't present drama in my life but it's a large part of who I am and patience and understanding is vital.
